Wordless Wednesday: First Gingerbread House

Someone was more interested in eating the candy than putting it on the house, but eventually he got the hang of it!

Our Story

Brian and I met the first day of Grad school, June 14th, 2004, when we were assigned to the same cohort.
Little did I know that he had an interest in me almost from the beginning. It wasn't until October that I started to think he was rather interesting.
We began to hang out under the guise of "working on homework" and talked on the phone... A LOT. Over Thanksgiving it was about 3 hours a day.
I got back to school on Monday and told my master teacher, Holly, that this was the guy I was going to marry. Coincidentally she and Brian had gone to middle school together.
At Christmas he came up to meet my family and gave me his glass paperweight that he bought in Venice when he was 5 with the express purpose of someday giving it to his wife!
Brian officially proposed on April 24th on the beach near Tillamook and we got married July 29th at Ohme Gardens.

We found out around the 4th of July, 2006 that we were expecting (surprise!) and Cory was born on March 28, 2007.
