Ordinary...

The days go by, in their ordinary way, messes to pick up, diapers to change, babies to snuggle.  Sometimes each day feels like a million hours long and I can't wait until bedtime only to do it all over again the next day.

Then I look back and wonder how it's gotten to be almost Christmas again when last year's cruise doesn't seem that long ago.

It's why I blog and take pictures.  So I can go back and remember the moments in the middle of the blur.  The smiles and silly quotes and yes, even the messes.

These ordinary days are the stuff of life.  The knowing between the crazy adventures.  The faithfulness of living life in the extraordinary of the ordinary.

  1. Hi Krista! Oh how I remember those busy days of raising our kiddos who now have families of their own. I remember feeling like every day seemed so ordinary and how the laundry would never end and would I ever have more energy again.

These days may seem ordinary to you too sometimes, but believe me when I say, what you are doing is far from ever being ordinary. These ordinary days where you are giving to the limit all that you have for your family will be worth millions in your children's lives and make a difference for eternity. I sometimes wish I still had my family living at home.

It's nice to meet you Krista!
