A Perfect Guy Gift?

I don't know about you, but I have the hardest time finding the perfect gift for any of the men in my life.  My little boys, I could buy them a present every day.  My dad, my brother, my husband on the other hand... once they hit about 16 it seems I either have no ideas or they would love something that I absolutely cannot afford.

With Father's Day in just under a month it is crunch time for me!  When it comes to my dad I usually end up getting him some little things that he loves... or that we share a love for!  Cashews and cool t-shirts.  I think I have probably contributed half his wardrobe over the years!

The one thing that my dad really loves to do is fish.  And so while we don't usually go on Father's Day, this is something that I think of when I think of him.  We've gone on many single and multiple day fishing adventures in the past and perhaps someday when I'm not tied to a baby we will again.

The photo here is a fish he caught this winter on a personal guided tour.  And yeah, Cory wasn't so sure about the fish.  He hasn't yet been initiated into the joy of fishing (and fish whacking ~ that was my job!).

So while I have no idea what I will get any of the father's in my life yet this year, I do know where I can find some fun and funky cards.

Tiny Prints has a new line of completely customizable cards for Father's Day.  You can even add your own pictures.  I spent way too much time there creating mine today, but the process is so fun and easy. Plus, you don't have to fight the other people in the card aisle and your favorite one is always in stock!

Now, can anyone find me the perfect gift for my dad and hubby???

I was compensated for my time to write this post, but all memories and opinions are my own!

  1. Blogger ate my comment from before! For the guys (and myself) the best solution is REI. It's the anniversary sale through the 30th. I just got a new sleeping bag there! Adam wants a SteriPen and I think their desert gaiters are the perfect, affordable gift for anyone who walks/hikes around our area...keeps the "hitchhikers" out! Good luck. :-)

  2. You know how to whack a fish? That makes me proud. I think I could do it. Now killing spiders...no way. I love this tribute to your dad. Awesome.
